Tailored financing options
Brewer-Garrett has extensive experience seeking the most appropriate type of financing for performance contracting projects. We are able to obtain financing from any available source—such as banks, private capital and financial services firms, investment firms, and other specialty sources. We have also worked with local government agencies that can add financial backing, credit enhancement, and possible tax-exempt aspects to a transaction.
Each transaction is unique
Each transaction is based on the components and resultant benefits of the project, together with the credit rating of the customer and the financing structure desired. Whether financing priorities focus on cash flow, payout terms, buyout options, or interest rates, our team will work to find the best solution.
Maximum energy efficiency at no net cost
Brewer-Garrett is proud to offer our customers financial plans that deliver maximum energy efficiency at no net cost. Our approach is to recapture lost energy dollars to create the cash flow needed to fund 100% of the guaranteed cost reduction program.
100% energy guarantee
Our projects include a 100% energy guarantee. Simply stated, if we project energy savings of $400,000 per year and only save $390,000, Brewer-Garrett will pay the difference. In addition, if the project saves $410,000, the owner keeps 100% of the $10,000 additional savings. There is no shared savings penalty with Brewer-Garrett. Our team leverages our deep experience with the various financing methods for implementing performance contracts.
We’ll help you qualify for a utility rebate
Updating your facility’s equipment to be more energy efficient will result in an immediate reduction in your energy bills. Incentives offered through utility companies can reduce the initial costs substantially, achieving an increased return on investment, and a shorter payback period. Brewer-Garrett can help you complete the required applications so you qualify for these incentives. We’ve procured more than $650,000 in rebates for our customers.
Expert LEED consulting services
With multiple LEED-accredited professionals on staff—as well as many certified energy managers—Brewer-Garrett provides the perfect blend of LEED knowledge, energy saving strategies, construction experience, and operations and maintenance. We can provide a whole-building approach to sustainability and seek LEED certification for new and existing buildings.
