After successfully completing a pilot design-build project at Franklin D. Roosevelt Academy, we partnered with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District on extensive updates to Wilbur Wright Elementary School and William Cullen Bryant Elementary School. Both projects leveraged the Ohio House Bill 153 Design-Build procurement model.
Solution
Both projects were fast-tracked and completed in the summer months to minimize impact on students and staff. Our approach included a mechanical retrofit, complete electrical system replacement, fire alarm system upgrade, extensive hazardous material abatement, interior lighting replacement, and exterior lighting upgrades.
