Opportunity
Paulding Schools wanted to reduce energy consumption—and a big part of that was getting students involved.
Solution
We implemented the Green Apple Project (GAP), a proven approach to changing behavior that provides educational resources for students and all involved in cutting down on energy use.
By changing behavior around energy consumption, GAP reduces operating costs without the need for capital investment. What’s even better, it does so in a way that’s beneficial to the environment—by driving a shift in culture that has a long-lasting impact.
Results
Implementing GAP at Paulding Schools delivered energy savings equivalent to taking 68 cars off the road, 34 homes off the electrical grid, installing one 200 kw wind turbine, or planting 306 acres of US forest.
